That my new goal. I am going to have $10,000 in my emergency fund by June 19, 20o9. Its the last day of the school year and I am going to make sure it happens. How? By applying any windfalls, raises, and yearbook advisor income to this fund. I should have about $ $3000.00 by the end of the month. That only leaves about $ 7000.00 in 9 months... not hard at all.
I can't wait. I remember when I thought it was going to be hard to save $1000.00! Then I was able to save over $5000.00. $10,000 will be a piece of cake. It's all about living below your means, erasing debt, and saving as much as possible. Next stop $20,000.
